Warwick Arts Centre is open to the public and is one of the largest arts centres in the UK, attracting around 300,000 visitors a year. In October 2017, it began a project to refresh, renew and redevelop the existing building. With many years’ experience in working with the Warwick Arts Centre, Graphic Arts Sign & Display were again closely involved in the development of signage and wall graphics for the atrium of the newly renovated centre.
Graphic Arts Sign & Display worked with the interior design team who were looking to add vibrancy, impact and ‘wow’ to a bland atrium area and provided practical advice as to how the desired creative concept could be achieved. One key element included incorporating the geometric pattern from the floor by creating a light-reflecting UV style finish to vinyl wall graphics, and fabricating bespoke built up letters to provide maximum impact. An additional challenge was that the client had a tight timescale for completion of the project.
Graphic Arts Sign & Display went on to produce an extensive range of wall graphics and signage for the front of house and back of house areas which were installed by our fitting teams in time for a key event at the venue. The client was delighted with the finished result and consequently decided to roll out the concept to further areas of the venue.
