The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world’s oldest and largest club for all forms of camping, established in 1901, it is proud to have over 700,000 members.
The brand prides itself on being friendly, fun and exciting, as well as promoting the joys of nature and spending time in the great outdoors.
The company wanted to reinforce and help employees feel engaged with this brand mission, so a “surprise internal rebrand” of the workspace was agreed.
After an extensive consultation with the design team at Graphic Arts Group, a range of varied and engaging internal branding solutions were decided upon, to create maximum visual impact throughout the workspace.
To set the scene for an upbeat and warm entrance to the workplace, a large wall graphic of a countryside sunrise and “Welcome to the great outdoors” creates a positive first impression.
To reinforce the company mission, graphics were placed in high-traffic areas, including the reception, corridors, HR, operations, bistro, offices and boardrooms. These inspirational images capture the sense of exploration that epitomises the brand identity.
Each wall graphic was printed bespoke for its space, using the highest quality, vivid lifelike colours, to deliver a sense of awe and wonder at the natural world.
To ensure accuracy and display the stunning landscapes in their full glory, test prints were developed and signed off by the client prior to the installation.
The use of brand imagery, eye-catching colours and consistent fonts added to the sense of belonging and unity throughout the building.
The entire installation of over 40 wall graphics and illuminated signage was completed in just one day. All employees were invited to an offsite training day to keep the refurbishment a surprise!
Within this short window, we were able to transform the head office space to represent the fun, energetic and adventurous nature of the brand.
